Blogosphere: Meet Allie...
Hi everyone! I am a little behind updating my blog. Oh, I have new projects to blog, just no time. I will get it caught up this week! Last Friday, we adopted a beautiful puppy named Allie. She is about 16 weeks old, weighing about 18 pounds, she's probably going to be a big dog! She's a lab/boxer mix, and as loving, adorable, and goofy as they come! The kids LOVE her and Allie is doing great with them. Other than trying to chew their toys every chance she gets, she's doing so well inside! This picture isn't the greatest, she's a live wire, and it's hard to get her to sit down. We'll be taking her and the kids outside to the giant leaf pile my husband raked yesterday, hopefully I can get a great pic then! Allie LOVES it outside, so my online time is about gone with all of her walks. But, when it's really cold out, she walks out, does her biz, and runs back in. So, with winter on our feet, maybe I will get some time back. Thanks for stopping by! Projects and more Allie to come!

Team Edward at Eclipse!!!
This is the gang (plus the middle ones hubby...she's a newlywed...hahaha) who went to see Eclipse at midnight last night! My sister, Emily is on left, I am on the right, and our friend since High School, Danielle is in the middle. Danielle printed the iron on transfers, and we all got together to make our shirts before leaving for the Premiere! The shirts say "Team Edward...I run with vampires". I don't know how many of my blog followers are Twilight Saga nuts, but I am, big time! If you can't tell already, I am die hard Team Edward, though I respect Jacob for his love and commitment to Bella and his tolerance of his enemy for her happiness. It truly is a beautiful love story. Whether you are Team Jacob or Team Edward, if you saw the movie last night, you know how great it was! There was a lot of info in that book, I almost wish they had split it into two movies. The fight scenes were shorter than I would have liked. All in all, it was wonderful. I am already itching to go see it AGAIN! And then buy it of course when released on DVD. So, we had the shirts, I also made this....
This is a pic of the canvas tote bag I made to take with me instead of a pocketbook. It's 13x13 and will be great for carrying around for just about anything. The letters are silver glitter transfers, they don't show up well against the black in the picture. So, the front says 'Team Edward' with a couple of hearts, and the back says 'Jacob Who?', the question mark didn't get done yet, I will do that later with stud transfers. I like how it turned out with just an iron!!! So, this isn't a stamping post, but I rarely post things that are not, so I hope you will bear with me. GO TEAM EDWARD!!!

Another Christmas Card & My Little Angels
So, here is another Christmas card I am sending out this year. I do not do mass production of Christmas cards anymore, it just bores me to no end. This year I am sending about 10 different styles, and I really like them all. I have used the same stamp set on all of them to keep them similar, and I have also repeated several colors. This one is a really simple one, but I love it. I used Old Olive CS, and Ski Slope DSP on the side. Chocolate Chip ribbon is tied over where the papers meet, and I layered some Chocolate Chip CS over that with the tree from Scandinavian Season stamped in Old Olive on Naturals White CS. In the center of the flower on the bottom right of the tree, I added half pearls called Crystal Stickers by Mark Richards. I am hooked on these right now. They're already sticky, you just use a tool to pick them up and stick them on! On the bottom right of the card I added a little stamped image from Perfect Presentation, which was a hostess set last year, in Chocolate Chip ink. I love the simplicity of this card.
And here is the My Little Angel part of the post. A wallet size of this picture is going out in all my family Christmas cards this year. Grandparents and aunts will also receive it framed as a small, extra present. Hopefully I will have time to make my own frames. I am thinking of doing the acrylic blocks for clear stamps as frames, it just depends on how much time I have in the next 13 days! But, this is Chloe age 4,and Tara age 2 in their Christmas dresses.
Merry Christmas!
***All products are SU unless specified. The pearls on this card are not, and were purchased at Archivers in Raleigh NC.
